The chapter starts with the countries’ basic information, such as: population, median age, and GDP per capita (PPP). It then dives into more specifics. The book gives multiple cultural notes throughout the chapter, such as icebreakers. It also includes information about the basic workweek, when you should arrive, how close to stand to others, and whether to Kiss, Bow, or Shake Hands. It provides tips for selling in each country, which can include: advertising tips, presentation advice, and negotiation recommendations. The authors also give some language advice and common phrases in the counties’ language.
